This year’s theme is “Fairytales and Nursery Rhymes.” The elegant event features tea foods including scones with Devonshire cream and jam, quiches, Russian tea cakes, chocolate and lemon cookies, triple-decker sandwiches, carrot roses, popovers, skewered fruit, palmiers, tortilla rollups and fruit pizza. There is also fresh Earl Grey tea.Long-time museum supporter Wilma Dick has once again created beautiful gift baskets, one for each table and one for the winner of the “People’s Choice” table décor award, which is voted on by museum visitors and tea guests.
